Dear Sofia,
although I would agree that the color of beech leafs in the spring is an astonishing miracle, I think there are some other miracles worth mentioning. For example, the deep green of leafs in the summer. Or the happy marriage of green, yellow and red in the autumn, when the leafs join themself on the ground and around our feets. Or in the winter, the subtile black fraktal structure of the naked trees over the white ground of the sky and the earth.
Or the mixture of white and green on the leafs of a linden tree. Or the blossoms of a cherry tree, or the color of its wood. Or the color and structure of beech wood.

Yours,
John
