„Reiterin“ [“Rider”], made 21/22.8.2000, 21 x 29 cm.

Another variation of the girl riding her husband/boy-friend/lover/passing acquaintance or whatsoever. I added more allusions, changed the light and banned the blond girl to the poster. For previous versions, see Gallery V, Gallery I and The Gallery of Chastity Belt Images.

„versteinerte Seifenblase“ [“fossilized soap bubble”], made 3.9.2000, 21 x 29 cm.

An image that partly occured to me after starring at rainbow colors. I remembered to have observed that soap bubbles start with pink and green, turning into rainbow colors, turning into white, yellow and brown, getting holes, and burst. I imagined a picture that would use the yellow-and-brown-colors of the last phase of a soup bubble. I took a drawing I used recently and added those colors, and while I was working on it, it seemed to me that a stone-like pattern would fit as a background, since stone is a harsh contrast to a soap bubble. This developed into the idea of a fossilized soap bubble, something hard to imagine. Voilà, here it is: a soap bubble that is also a girl and that refused to burst after cycling through the ordinary live cycle of a soap bubble, but fossilized instead, perhaps some million years ago.

A kind of joke. I guess only few people would portrait themself hentai-like. I tried to imitate this style as exactly as possible.

„Smiling Girl“ , made 7.10.2000.

A picture originally by Leonardo da Vinci. I allowed myself to improve it a little bit (with best wishes to Marcel Duchamp).

Another attempt. This inspired me to try to write two animations. The first one is based on a java applet I wrote myself:

“Numbers”, made 3.12.2000.

You may also download nummernreiterin.zip (51 KB zipped, 56 KB unzipped); this files contains the necessairy class, the source code, the image with the digits, the image with the partly transparent girl, the html-file and the background image. It is rather fast with Internet Explorer 5.5, but it is even faster with Netscape 6.

“Waves”, made 3.12.2000.

This is an Anfy applet. It slides between three images: a hokusai image, an inverted image contained in a Linux distribution and the non-inverted image, all of them combined with the green swimsuit image.

17.12.2000 I made two more animations based on the green swimsuit drawing. The first one,

“Variation”, made 18.12.2000.

Another variation, based on an ink drawing I scanned and virtually filled with colors before virtually pasting the girl in.

„Adventskalender“ [“Advent Calender”], made 27/28.11.2000, 21 x 29 cm.

This picture served as a de-luxe advent calender (from the first of december to the first of january).

The next three picture I made all the same day, 14.1.2001 (together with three drafts I dismissed).

„Waisenkind“ [“Orphan”], 21 x 29 cm.

I wrote a seperate text, „Iratsume oder die Sophisten“, to explain this picture (unfortunatly, this text happens to be written entirely in German). The image displays Iratsume, the heroe of an anime “The Sophists”.

„Bild mit langem Titel, den ich aber jetzt nicht noch einmal wiederholen möchte“ [“Image with a long title, but which I don’t want to repeat again”], 21 x 29 cm.

The title refers to the title of a previous draft (one of the dismissed), named „Geburt ist Leiden, Alter ist Leiden, Krankheit ist Leiden, Sterben ist Leiden, Kummer, Jammer, Schmerz, Gram und Verzweiflung sind Leiden, mit Unliebem verbunden sein ist Leiden, von Liebem getrennt sein ist Leiden, was man begehrt nicht erlangen, das ist Leiden, kurz gesagt: die fünf Stücke des Anhangens sind Leiden.“ [“Birth is Suffering, Age is Suffering, Illness is Suffering, Dying is Suffering, Sorrow, Misery, Pain, Grief and Dispair are Suffering, Being Gathered with Unloved is Suffering, Being Seperated of Loved is Suffering, Not Getting what One Desires is Suffering, short: the Five Pieces of Dependence are Suffering”].

„MonsterMädchen meets Holofernes den Täufer“ [“MonsterGirl meets Holoferenes the Baptist”], made 20.1.2001, 21 x 29 cm.

A kind of female ghoul, based on “Waiting”, that appeared to me in a sudden vision.

Untitled, made 22.1.2001, 29 x 14 cm.

This consists of two pieces of decalcomanie (green and flesh-color), glued on black paper, with pencils, black and white ink. A rare landscape format.

I collected 12 green swimsuit images and used them for a screen saver. See the Free Files Page for details.

“Green Swimsuit Tiling”, made 9.2.2001.

I used ten of the twelve green swimsuit images for a seamles tile. Ressembles a crowded beach, I think; also available as Windows-Bitmap (if you want to use it as desktop-wallpaper, for example).
